Case Studies

Crownbridge School

MD Electrical was tasked with providing a specific energy target to Crownbridge SEN school in Wales. Crownbridge school educates children and young people with severe learning difficulties. We were able to design and implement a tailored solar energy solution that not only met the school’s energy efficiency goals but also reduced their carbon footprint, creating a more sustainable and cost-effective environment for the students and staff.

Lee High Road

MD Electrical was tasked with providing specific energy ratings for a number of flats. The best way for us to do this was to utilise the Allume SolShare device. SolShare enables the direct connection of multiple flats to a single rooftop solar PV system. This breaks down the technical and ownership barriers that have historically prevented apartment residents from accessing cheaper and cleaner energy from the sun.

Clients Feedback

‘“This was an important project for us as we work towards delivering our SBti target and onwards to Net Zero.

Prior to this we had completed two carbon reduction projects, but this was the most complex and it was delivered on target and with minimal impact on our operations.

Our experience with BeBa has been a positive one – right from the early development stages all the way through to switch on. We found BeBa to be professional and honest which has made the entire process and project easy’’
Rob James, Technical. Director | Thanet Earth

Electrical Construction Renewables comments

“We are delighted to have worked on this major installation for Thanet Earth, which will also see an anticipated 189,706kgs carbon reduction each year for the business.

Whilst some businesses install solar through gritted-teeth, it was clear early on that Thanet Earth’s key stakeholders were fully engaged and onboard with the project.

We have now completed several installations of a similar size or larger for major horticulture and agriculture businesses in the county and the sector is working hard to use more solar energy as part of its move towards net zero.”
