Project overview

MD Electrical completed a high-impact solar PV and battery storage installation across 15 social housing properties. This forward-thinking project was designed to lower tenant energy costs, improve energy resilience, and contribute to the housing association’s net zero goals.

Each property was fitted with an 8-panel solar array and a 5 kW battery, enabling residents to store and use clean energy throughout the day and night, reducing reliance on grid electricity.

By combining solar power with battery storage, the housing association has ensured residents benefit from a dependable and efficient energy system, while also advancing its sustainability and environmental goals.
