Our team successfully delivered a bespoke ground-mounted solar PV installation at North View Nursery, providing the site with a reliable renewable energy solution designed to support long-term energy efficiency and sustainability.
The project involved the installation of a 11.75kWp ground-mounted solar PV system, paired with battery storage technology to maximise energy usage and improve on-site energy resilience. Designed specifically to suit the available outdoor space, the installation provides clean energy generation while maintaining practicality and accessibility across the site.
The system was installed using a single-height groundmounted framework from Sun Fixings, creating a robust and efficient mounting solution tailored to the site layout. The addition of a Tesla Powerwall 3 allows the nursery to store excess solar generation for use when energy demand is higher or solar production is lower.
Careful planning and coordination ensured the installation was completed safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on system performance, long-term reliability, and minimal disruption to the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
The completed system now enables North View Nursery to generate and store its own renewable energy on-site, helping to reduce electricity costs and lower carbon emissions. Combining solar PV with battery storage provides greater energy independence and creates a future-ready solution that supports the nursery’s ongoing sustainability goals
